Porcini? Pepper? Gingersnap? Gin? Who knew chocolate was such a versatile partner for unusual flavors? Craft makers are experimenting with combinations inspired by both history and new culinary trends, always looking for ways to bring out cacao's complex characteristics. Enjoy unexpected combos!

How It Works

Participants receive four full-sized craft chocolate bars. We'll then gather via Zoom for an hour-long tasting event. We'll talk about the history of chocolate and how craft chocolate is made from bean-to-bar, and you'll learn about the theme, the makers' stories and information about each bar. Through it all, I'll be asking the group to interject questions, thoughts and responses to what they're learning and tasting.

Participants will gain a greater appreciation for the complexity of chocolate and expand their palates. Nothing needed on their part other than curiosity!

Kit Contents

Each participant will receive four full sized chocolate bars from an artisan maker. The unique combinations will change depending on seasonality.
