By day I’m a New York based entrepreneur, broadcaster, and business analyst with over a decade of experience in the first-class entertainment sector. Since 2010 I have worked on over 100 productions and events in the West End and on Broadway (global clients include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Come From Away, The Illusionists, Matilda The Musical, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as well as numerous tours, concerts, operas, ballets and other live events across Europe and North America. I’ve held roles with some of the world’s largest live entertainment organizations including ATG, AKA, Mirvish Productions and TodayTix. My unique resumé means I’ve analyzed in minute detail the business and advertising strategies of many major entertainment brands in several different commercial settings to learn what audiences look for and respond to in terms of both content and context. I’m also the host and editor of the podcast Putting It Together for the Broadway Podcast Network in which I interview Broadway’s best business minds once a month. I was the recipient of SOBOM’s Ted Motchman Award in 2015 for my work in London’s West End, and a nominee the year prior. In 2020 I founded Virtual Game Night, a wholly original and interactive full-scale gameshow format delivered live over Zoom for private customers and events.
By night, I’m a comedian writing and performing under the stage and pen name Olly Robinson. I’ve been lucky enough to perform to sold out crowds at Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and more. In this guise I’m also the host of the podcast Smashed and the host of Virtual Game Night’s shows and events.
